Accidents don't mean the end of your laptop

Even technophobes who never really got the hang of computers, and who may type with one finger may find that they have to use laptops occasionally. Such is the technological revolution that almost every job now needs a basic level of ability in using computers and laptops and now that laptop prices have come down, many more are providing laptops to their staff rather than heavy, non-mobile desk top or tower computers.

This means that there are very many more laptops around in use and some of these are in the hands of people who may not be aware of the best way to take care of their laptop hardware. If you are not sure of the best way to look after your computer, here are some tips to keep your laptop in good condition. Don’t prop books up on the keyboard as you revert to traditional sources of information to look something up as you could loosen or prise off the laptop keys.Toshiba Satellite PRO L10 laptop battery

Be very careful with drinks around a laptop because, whereas coffee stains on a book are a nuisance, a spill on a laptop could be fatal to it. Similarly, eating whilst using your laptop may leave crumbs among and under the keyboard, which will cause problems with stuck keys in the future. Dropping a laptop is obviously not good for it, and neither is banging it down hard on a desk, or throwing it casually in a bag with lots of other items. HP Pavilion DV4000 Series laptop battery

Generally, laptops need a bit of tender loving care, but if you find that you need laptop hardware to replace a keyboard that has ceased to function, or laptop repairs to a screen that is damaged and unreadable, here at exceldigital(UK) we can supply you with laptop parts that are compatible with all the major makes and brands, which means that any accidents that may occur can be fixed easily.

Help answer the question about laptop

What is the best brand for a laptop that is reasonably priced?
I am a high school student in search of a laptop. I've seen many laptops in ads for best buy and other stores that are under $1000. Some of them are as low as $600. I was wondering, for my purposes, would one of these laptops be good enough? Also, in 2 years when I go to college, will this laptop still be good enough? Finally, I was hoping to find a colored laptop, preferably red. The only one I've really seen so far is the sony vaio, which is way out of my price range. Any suggestions?

You could have all the programs you want, and more training and practice would help, but it still wouldn't change the fact that most teens think that "It can't happen to me", and they think that they are indestructible.

I know I did at that age.

And for those of you who answered that "accidents" can't be avoided by better anticipation, and situational awareness, you are wrong. (Let's hope it's not "Dead Wrong").

There was a shut off valve. It blew up.

They are not ready because we have deregulated them to the point that they don't have to be.

I have been told (I suffer from PTSD due to abuse as a child and adult) that when a traumatic event happens the brain shuts it out until it "feels" as though you can handle it and deal with it. Eventually it does come out…mine did when I was in my 20's and I had to start dealing with things. The brain is a complicated thing.

Even healthy couples only have a 20% chance of conceiving every month. I would say if he isn't 'finishing' inside of you that is the reason you haven't been pregnant. Why are you concerned if you haven't tried yet? I think you are worrying over nothing.

Start by first checking that your tires are ready for the weather. Tread-bare or low tires are a big cause of most weather related accidents. Check that the tire pressure is correct. Also speed on wet, snowy or iced roads has to be decreased. Black ice is a serious concern in extreme cold after a cool down or rain. Be alert to others who may not be able to stop.

plenty of people are going to tell you to hire an attorney. one, most attorney's will not take the case unless there are injuries (mostly because if it's just property damage, it's limited money). two, they take the money that's only yours anyway. if you dont have to hire one, don't. now, as far as filing a lawsuit, if you're really going to do it, you would be filing against the insurance company because they are already legally representing the the individual.
now, before you go sinking a whole bunch of money into a lawsuit you may not need to, contact your state's department of insurance. tell them what's going on. if anything, i would file a claim with your own insurance company (if you have collision coverage) and have them go against the other carrier. that's what you pay them a premium for. otherwise, the department of insurance (which is the group that makes sure that insurance companies do what they are supposed to) will advise you accordingly and may even take action on your behalf.
*also, i would find out from this friend if the other company has denied his claim or if they are still just investigating. they have their normal procedures to go through and it sounds like it should be pretty open & shut. i wouldn't be taking all these serious actions until they actually try to deny his claim.

I do not think that being an accident is neccessarily less than miraculous.

Your existance here depended on one particular sperm meeting one paricular egg. A different sperm or different egg would have produced a different person. The average human ejaculation contains over one hundred million sperm: so already the chance of your existance is over one hundred million to one.
Multiply that by the odds of fertilisation having occurred at all, and of you having survived pregnancy (around 2/3 of all pregnancies terminate within the first trimester). Then multiply that by the odds of your parents having chosen to have sex that night. Multiply that by the odds of them having met each other and fallen in love. Multiply that by the odds of *them* having been successfully conceived and brought to term (the same odds as for you).
Take this back only a few generations, and the odds of *you* having existed are so amazingly unlikely that your existance at all is a genuine (non-religious) miracle.

You don't need to be religious to see that each of our lives can easily be seen as a miracle. Why waste that?
