3e1c_1.JPG Panasonic CF-50, 15″ screen, Pentium M 1700mhz ( This was the fastest CF-50 model from the factory), 512m ram, 80g h.d., floppy, network, modem, wireless G, DVD\RW drive and a Panasonic a/c adapter. This has been upgraded to a Panasonic, Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-841S drive, according to the Nero info tool, every “read” box is checked except CD+G and every “write” box is checked except Mount Rainier, it will play and write DVDs as well as CDs. The problem is that the DVD\RW drive is not recognized in the bios, so the drive is not bootable. If the O.S. ever needs to be re-installed, a different drive would have to be used. There are some scratches/scuffs on the lid, most every Panasonic has them with the lid being metal instead of plastic, over all this is a real nice looking laptop. There is some slight pressure marks that can be seen on the display in solid colors, this is pretty common on this model with the 15″ screen, there is a pad between the lid and the display that seems to cause this, I have seen the same thing on every one I have seen, this is not bad but it is there so I had better mention it. The battery did charge and run the laptop but i do not warantee batteries. Everything I tested on the laptop seemed to work fine. This is still a really nice laptop, it is the top of the line CF-50.
